AAe undertook the investigation, Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessment and remedial works for a gas oil spill into a shallow aquifer. Remedial works included source and LNAPL removal by pump and treat. Over 10,000 litres of product were removed during the works. The site has been remediated to the satisfaction of the Environment Agency.
